Lesson 2: 3 vs. 3 with no dribbling

Tactical Problem: - maintaining possession of the ball ans attacking the basket

Skill development: - passing and faking
                            - pass and move
                            - shooting
                            - defending


Teaching Points:

Tactic:
- support ball carrier
- creating space
- controlled passing and moving
- decision of what type of pass to use

Skill:
- 3 vs. 3 at each basket
- no dribbling, passing only
- no travelling
- after point is taken the ball goes to the other team
- lots of movement required
 
 

 
Organizational Points: 

- pinnies distrubuted
- 7, 7 and 6 at each basket
- sub in extras
- designate pinnies and girls to basket
- must pass 3 times before shooting
- focus on accurate passing

- 5 vs. 5 dribbling
